Do I need a specification?
No. A problem and a few examples are enough to start. If you have a specification, it helps clarify how the tool will be used.
Client portal or internal tool?
Both are possible. We define the users, their roles, their actions and their information.
Can you connect our software?
We check the possible exchanges, access and service terms. Not every connection is feasible.
What does the starting price cover?
€9,000 excl. VAT is the starting threshold. The proposal details the features selected and your project budget.
What about changes during the project?
Their effects on content, budget and timeline are reviewed before work begins. Approval terms are defined.
What happens after launch?
The proposal sets out hosting, onboarding, maintenance and further development: who does what, which tasks and on what terms.
How do payment and the timeline work?
A study at €1,500 excl. VAT sets the scope, budget and timeline. If you go ahead, its cost is deducted from the total. The project then moves forward in stages, each paid by bank transfer or card before the next.
Who is behind UPSHOT?
UPSHOT is an agency of the Lumena Group. You keep the same point of contact from the first conversation to launch. Before any quote, we take the time for a video call to understand your business: you know who you are talking to. Lumena Group LLC, the group company established in the United States, signs the quotes and issues the invoices. We work with businesses in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, the United Kingdom and Morocco, and our quotes, communications and contracts are in English.
How does invoicing work?
You receive a detailed quote to sign online. Our prices are shown excluding VAT. As Lumena Group LLC is established outside the European Union, our invoices are issued without VAT. If your business is liable for VAT, your accountant declares it under the reverse-charge mechanism, as with your subscriptions to foreign software.
How do I pay for each stage?
By bank transfer or card, before each stage begins. Our euro account is held in Belgium: it is a standard European transfer, free of charge. By card, payment goes through Stripe, the payment provider used by millions of businesses worldwide: your bank details are never passed on to us, and your bank protects you as with any card purchase.
What if my needs go further?
- The features shown are possibilities, not a set included in the starting price.
- Connections depend on the software. A native mobile app requires specific scoping.
- Hosting, third-party services, maintenance and further development are defined separately from the initial build, with their costs and responsibilities.
